Dr. Aide Macias-Muñoz is a 2018 graduate of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UCI.  In 2011 she received a  B.A in Integrative Biology and a minor in Chicano Studies from UC Berkeley.  As a graduate student, Dr. Macias-Muñoz was awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation and a Predoctoral Fellowship from the Ford Foundation. She is currently a George E. Hewitt Postdoctoral Fellow in Ali Mortazavi’s lab.
